Get Set for the Weekend!

It's Friday and I am posting! OMGosh!!  Well, to be honest, I had half of this project made last week and I just needed an excuse to finish it!  I had my Craft Group last Thursday and decided that we should all make 'grown up jumble jars'!  My craft group are some lovely friends that I met when our children all started school together back in 2003 and we get together on a regular basis to play with my stash!  When our children were at First School, the most popular stall at the Summer Fete was the Jumble Jar stall, so we've all endured years of turning old jam jars into Dalek's and Space Rockets, etc... so I decided that it was time we made one for ourselves which was nice and girly!  I didn't get round to finishing mine on the night because I was too busy helping the others with their punching and distressing, etc... So, when I spotted that Magnolias Down Under were having an Old Treasures theme where you had to recycle something, a light popped on in my head.  Out came one of my Mothers Day stamps (isn't she just gorgeous!!) and I had her inked up and coloured in no time.  I decided to mount her onto the front of my recycled Yankee Candle jar and now I just have to find a use for it!  LOL!!  Here's the finished product:
And that's my lot for today.  There's still loads of time to enter the Midweek Magnolias challenge for this week and we'd love to see your projects over there!

Thanks for stopping by - hope you have a great weekend, it's quite tropical here at the moment!! :o) xx
